The Gabriel Project is a ministry of the Office of Pro-Life Activities for the Diocese of Austin.  It is a good Samaritan approach of helping women who are in a crisis pregnancy.  The church community reponds in a loving, unconditional and nonjudgemental manner to the woman, serving as a witness to the infinite and healing love of God.  A trained volunteer, called an "Angel", is assigned to the mother when she calls for help, and is responsible for ongoing contact with her.  Through the Gabriel Project the mother receives love, care and the spiritual, material and emotional support she needs.
